Educational Philosophy
My educational philosophy is that students should work to become informed global citizens; knowing about other people and cultures outside of their own to help them formulate enlightened opinions and discourse. There is a width for education, with an extensive scope of knowledge and learning, but also a depth into understanding what is learned. I look at students as pragmatic problem-solvers and strive to teach them accountability and responsibility. I believe that through education, students will be empowered to make positive contributions for themselves, their community, and the world.
